Alexey Anikin was born on March 29, 1968 in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region. He received his first painting lessons at a local art school. In 1987, he graduated from the Suzdal Art Restoration School. The prevailing interest was in the Russian landscape. With all my creative efforts, I try to convey the "great in the small" - the unique beauty of nature. Something that everyone can easily see for themselves, but do not notice for the bustle of the running days. I am happy when the viewer stops in front of the picture, feeling the desire to freeze and plunge into a state that cannot be expressed in words, into the charm of nature. Since 1991, I have participated in exhibitions in Europe, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, and Dzerzhinsk. My works are in private collections, offices, banks in Russia, America, England, China, Israel, Canada, Italy, Germany.
