My name is Douglas Ennis. I was born in 1958 and was raised in Livingston Parish. I always loved working with wood in shop class and learned the basics of woodworking. That was the start or the seed planted so to speak. People constantly ask me who taught me to do what I do. I tell them that no one did, I just see and feel what needs to be done. I like to think I help expose the creative beauty of the natural wood. The is what my work stands on.
