Endre Penovác was born in 1956 in Tornyos. In 1984 he graduated from the painting department of the Novi Sad Academy of Fine Arts. In 1983 he took part in the work of the European Academy of Arts in Trier (Germany). He has been a member of the Vojvodina Artists' Association since 1984, and a member of the Art Fund of the Republic of Hungary since 1992. He has participated in nearly one hundred solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad.
