Born in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. From his childhood, he felt that he would one day paint. That was decades after he turned 47. Currently, he is in his fourth year of self-taught painting. His work stands out for its collage-like arrangement of motifs, and the richness and vividness of its colors.
