Description
Painting: Ink on Paper.
I have been using watercolors for decades. I was captivated by it’s momentum and what a challenge it provides for the painter. Watercolor painting is unique and unrepeatable, there is no making corrections, adding layer upon layer like you would to an oil painting.
In some aspects this is conflict between the painter, the water, the paper and the pigments. If they create harmony, meaning they ’understand’ each other, then a great painting is born: the painter is able to express his thought, the pigments submerge in the water and together they embrace the welcoming paper.
