The 8th installment of the “How to: Be an Artist” Collection. Unlike the rest of the series, this piece was made with minimal materials; an intentional detail by its creator. An ode to true love, the artist is said to have used LESS in hopes to convey how materials have complicated prior relationships. This peice is a juxtoposition of its own simplicity and the complexity of love. This original one of one piece glows under UV light and upon purchase will be fitted with a custom acrylic frame that has UV lighting built into it. Each material used within this series of paintings was selected, collected, and even crafted from scratch to be carefully infused into the design over a three year time period. Many of the artifacts collected are very meaningful to the artist and are symbolic to the images they create themselves.
